| Glaciers are basically frozen rivers. A 26km basin of snow feeds this glacier, it takes ice anywhere from 3 years to 300 years to get all the way from the top to melting. This glacier is one of the only that is still advancing, the closest to the sea, and the steepest commercially guided. Ice climbing was fun! |
